Territorial Acknowledgement

“Creation Story: Turtle Island” by @kylejoedickeart.

This project recognizes that the building of purity culture rhetoric contributed to the genocide and land theft of the multitudes of First Peoples that resided on Turtle Island. Moreover, we recognize that the healing work we seek to accomplish occurs across stolen Turtle Island land. Healing from purity culture cannot be done independently, it must also be intersectional and decolonial.
